Private small craft visiting Guam must coordinate with Guam Port Authority/Harbormaster. Its small-vessel guide requires contact on arrival with Guam Customs and Quarantine Agency (CQA) and US CBP for vessel, crew and passenger inspections. US immigration rules apply. Ports of entry/departure

Guam Port Authority's small-vessel process covers Apra Harbor and Guam marinas but provides no complete international yacht clearance-port list. Berth availability does not establish border processing capability. Confirm designated clearance positions and hours with the Harbormaster, CQA and CBP before arrival.

Pre-arrival reporting

The public small-vessel guide requires an arrival notice and small-vessel entry form to the Harbormaster 96 hours ahead. Berthing/mooring arrangements require approval. On arrival, contact CQA and CBP for inspection as instructed. The PDF is undated; confirm the 96-hour requirement with the Port Authority before sailing.

Pleasure craft arriving from abroad must report immediately to CBP. As directed, crew must personally apply for entry before an officer at an open US port of entry. Check visas and eligibility by each person's nationality and documents. Available sources establish no separate Guam yacht-specific visa exemption.

Vessel customs

The Port Authority small-vessel guide requires contact with CQA and CBP on arrival for vessel, crew and passenger inspections. CBP also requires immediate reporting of pleasure craft arriving from abroad. Available public sources establish no Guam private-yacht temporary-import, guarantee or duty-free period. Confirm with CQA/CBP according to flag and use.

Quarantine and biosecurity

Before bringing dogs, cats or other animals to Guam, confirm permits, quarantine, vaccination and possible isolation and follow current CQA/agricultural rules. These sources concern animal entry, not a complete yacht health procedure. Yacht-specific food, plant and stores inspection checklists remain unverified.

Prohibited and restricted items

No complete private-yacht onboard-goods restriction list was found. Before carrying firearms, controlled medicines, animals, plants or goods intended for landing, confirm declarations and permits separately with CQA, CBP and relevant authorities. Fees and departure

Since November 2025, Guam CQA requires electronic submission of outward vessel-clearance application Form CQ067 with applicable crew, passenger and cargo details. Paper applications are not accepted. The policy publishes no private-yacht outward-clearance fee, so no amount is given here.
