概要
Scope
This page summarizes entry preparation for foreign private recreational vessels visiting Bangladesh. Bangladesh Customs law sets general requirements for vessel arrival, manifests and departure clearance; masters of foreign vessels must also comply with immigration registration rules. Public official sources do not provide a dedicated entry-port list or one-stop clearance guide for private pleasure yachts, so do not assume any port can receive a yacht. Before sailing, confirm vessel acceptance, declarations, people-on-board lists and processing times with Customs, the port authority and Bangladesh Immigration Police at the intended port.

Bangladesh Customs law requires foreign vessels arriving from abroad to call at a Customs station; after arrival, they may not leave the port of arrival or unload goods without permission from the responsible officer. Official sources do not list ports authorized for private yachts. Confirm vessel acceptance and berthing arrangements with Customs and the intended port authority before departure.

到着前の申告
Customs law requires the person in charge, owner, operator or agent of a vessel arriving from abroad to submit vessel and cargo declarations at the place, time, in the form and by the method prescribed by the Customs Board. Public information does not confirm a dedicated yacht reporting channel or advance deadline. Ask Customs at the intended port and provide vessel, voyage and cargo details as directed.

入国審査
Bangladesh’s Foreigners Registration Rules require the master, before foreign passengers embark or disembark, to submit Form A completed by foreign nationals and passenger list Form E to the registration officer at the arrival/departure port. If requested by the officer, arriving foreign passengers must also complete Form B and follow the designated place and time. The master must provide crew names, nationalities and other information as required.
This summarizes statutory vessel/passenger registration requirements; the rule alone does not confirm visa conditions, crew-document/seaman’s book requirements or where private yachts are processed. Confirm current forms and procedures with Bangladesh Immigration Police (Special Branch) and the destination port before arrival. Do not allow passengers or crew ashore without Immigration permission.

船舶の税関手続き
Bangladesh’s Customs Act requires an arriving vessel to report as directed and submit an import manifest for the vessel. Cargo must not be unloaded or hatches opened before the arrival declaration is completed. A vessel must obtain Customs port clearance before leaving a Customs port; the Act generally requires the master to apply at least 24 hours before expected departure, though the Customs officer may allow a shorter period for special reasons.
The law covers vessels operating at Customs ports and does not give a complete document list or counter procedure for foreign private yachts at each port. Before arrival, ask Customs at the intended port whether an agent is needed and which manifests, crew/passenger lists, registration and other declarations are required. Allow enough time for departure clearance.

Quarantine and biosecurity
Bangladesh’s Plant Quarantine Act 2011 applies to plants and plant products entering by sea, land or air. It requires permits as prescribed for imported plants, plant products, beneficial organisms, soil and packing material, and notification to the nearest plant quarantine officer on receipt. Bangladesh Customs’ official animal/animal-product import procedure says that, depending on category, animal imports may require a permit, no-objection certificate, veterinary health certificate or quarantine certificate from the Department of Livestock Services.
Public information does not specify yacht exemptions or procedures for onboard food, stores, pets or waste. Before carrying pets, meat/dairy/eggs, plants, seeds, soil or animal products, confirm permits, health documents, declarations and quarantine arrangements with Customs, plant quarantine and livestock quarantine authorities at the destination port. Do not take such items ashore before approval.

規制・禁止品目
Restricted and prohibited items
Section 17 of Bangladesh’s Customs Act 2023 lists prohibited imports/exports and allows the government to restrict other goods by gazette notification. Official lists include goods contrary to the Wildlife (Conservation and Security) Act 2012 and other statutory prohibitions. Bangladesh Customs’ official FAQ says firearm imports require advance authorization from the competent authority; some firearms may be imported only by authorized importers or approved persons, and air-gun imports are prohibited/strictly restricted.
These are summaries of cargo-import and permit rules; they do not establish how private crew may carry or temporarily store firearms, ammunition, medicines or wildlife products aboard. Before departure, confirm declarations, permits, sealing and carriage eligibility item by item with Bangladesh Customs and the responsible authority. Do not treat onboard storage as an exemption or carry weapons or protected-species products without written confirmation.
