Thank you for your suggestion. We are currently rebuilding the wind and wave map layers, including how current and forecast data are displayed. We believe you will soon see a very different and much improved experience.

This issue has already been fixed in version 1.5.0. The update has been submitted to Google Play, and you should be able to download and try it within approximately 2 business days.
